To My Beloved Family, Friends, Prayer Warriors and Faithful Supporters:

I am still up in the Dallas area and covet your prayers for Kayla, who is writing my manuscript, John who is designing the cover and arranging the pictures and especially for Pam and Christine, who have been an inspiration to me and without whom, there would be no book being published. There is still a way to go, so I continue to need your prayers for wisdom and divine inspiration. My only desire is that it be a blessing to all who read it.

In the last few days the scripture, "The harvest is great and the laborers few, pray ye the Lord of the Harvest to send forth laborers into His harvest."(Matt 9:27), has been heavily on my mind and of course South Africa is never far from my heart.

I have just received great news that Linda Barnes and Carolyn Bocian, who are part of Encounter Missions International (Janet Robertson, director) along with Linda Combrinck from Durban, visited my friends Mercia and Elna in Somerset West. Linda Burger and Loraine were also part of the group, upon which God poured out His Spirit in a mighty way. God truly blessed, pouring out a great anointing upon them, accompanied by prophesy and words of comfort and encouragement. Let us pray that God will continue to lead and guide them and give them all a great peace at this time.

They were led to attend MCC of Good Hope, while in Cape Town and were very impressed with the relatively new Pastor, Presley Sutherland, from Virginia. They received a tremendous blessing and were very conscious of the Holy Spirit in the church. It seems like yesterday that Nico and I helped a group of people to establish a church and link up with MCC. I love them and pray that a mighty revival will spread from their church throughout the Cape. Keep them in your prayers, who knows what marvels and miracles are in store for them.

On the top of our list for prayers, is the church, Deo Gloria in Durban. Pastor Debbie Bell is doing a fabulous job, with the able assistance of Maretjie, the prayer warrior and administrator. God has great things in store for Debbie. She has come a long way and the anointing on her ministry is vital. Let us pray that the church will expand, until there is no more room in their present facility and that their message of hope, forgiveness and love will set the prisoners free and light a fire across the land. I am excited for them and I speak miracles and great rejoicing over the whole group as they work together. I am expecting to hear a glorious report.

Last, but not least, let us pray for the newly elected President Zuma that God will pour out upon him the same spirit of love, forgiveness and vision for good, for all the peoples of South Africa, which is the same spirit that embodied his friend President Nelson Mandela and caused him to be a force to contend with and the MAN OF THE HOUR. It is interesting to hear that President Zuma's new wife stood out on the steps of the building, where President Zuma was voting, and she began to preach the Gospel. That is nothing less than amazing.

I believe, if we prayed earnestly for these churches and those whose hearts are turned toward God, we will see great and mighty things happening in South Africa. Let's give it a try and watch God perform great and mighty things.

Thank you for all your prayers, support and love. I am conscious of them every day and without you, none of this would have happened.  I love you.

Snowstorm for the record books in Dallas Texas.

2/12/2010: In space of 24 hours we received more than a foot of snow. The average snowfall yearly is 2.5 inches.  The snow brought down tons of tree limbs, which in turn took out power lines, which left 180,000 people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, are without power.  Many airline flights were cancelled, however I was lucky and was able to get a flight home to Austin/Smithville on the same day the photos were taken.
