recovering well from chemo treatments
Brenda – for receiving the job she wanted and for the job location. She starts
to work on Monday October 20, 2008. Irene White
– (Ken Baker’s cousin) for her uplifting attitude. Irene and Allen’s son Ian is two years old and he has just been
diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. The following is from an email she sent to her family “We are
blessed to know where to go from here. Ian is happy, healthy, and LOVED. His entire family rallies around him, to support
and help him. My mission is to find a balance for all of our children. To help them all succeed and not hinder them based
on any one problem. They must go far and beyond our expectations, for themselves. GOD is VERY GOOD.
As Allen says," We have Ian, which is all that matters"! My family and childhood friends will laugh at this; my
escape is to play Pac-man everyday for a little while! It has volume control, but Ian likes to hear it! Isn't that funny?
We appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers, cards and love. Please keep this up. It is not easy to walk alone. We walk
with God's grace surrounding and lifting us up. Besides doctors aren't GOD!!!! August 2008
